ABOUT ME

I left my life and career in Los Angeles at the end of 2007 to travel around the world with Semester at Sea, which has enabled me to meet and experience new friends, quite literally, around the globe. For almost four years my home was aboard the mv explorer, where I worked in media and taught video journalism to undergrads.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the pleasure of traveling to over 60 countries thus far and want to continue to give back by meeting new people, sharing stories, and serving as a cultural ambassador.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Boat life doesn't include a couch, and maritime law prevents me from having visitors. However, I have met up with fellow surfers and stayed with a nice couple in India.
