Haven't participated for a while, life has been too full on

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I guess my first experience was hosting a young Australian girl who surfed my couch way back when, probably before CouchSurfing truly existed. The only things I knew about her came from my best friend who she worked with in Oz,and a couple of emails back and forth. She arrived on a cold wet night in Feb 2001, and has been surfing my couch ever since!! We've been married now for 6 years and have a wonderful life Downunder, where we host travellers from all over.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching my daughter, Charli, being born.
Skiing my first black.
Going free fall for my first jump.
Sitting on the grid at Brands Hatch waiting for my race to start.
Watching elephants appear through the early morning mist on their way to the watering hole.
Sitting in a stockade in Kenya listening to the lions roar, then realising it was a one wall stockade!!
Standing on top of Ayers Rock.
Driving a tank through the forests in Germany.
Seeing moonlight rainbows at the Devils Cataract, Victoria Falls.
Watching the volcano on Stromboli erupt at night.
