I would like to eventually travel to every country on the globe.

ABOUT ME
I am a very laid back guy that is very much interested in travel and meeting new people of all walks of life. I currently live in South Lake Tahoe, and have been "stuck" in paradise here for the last 12 years. It is a great place to have as a home base, but I love to get away from here whenever I can. I am a boat captain here on the lake in the summer, and a snowboard instructor in the winter. I like to get away every spring and fall. Eat, sleep, work, save, travel, repeat :)

Getting lost is a great way to find yourself.

It is amazing how some of the smallest things in life can prevent some of the biggest things from happenning, don't sweat the small stuff.

I used to host whenever I could. I have hosted some very interesting and wonderful people in my home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted quite a few people before I actually stayed on my first couch. It was a great way to get involved, and meet like minded travelers/people. All of the couches that I have stayed on have been amazing! I think that couch surfing is one of the best things that I have ever been introduce to as far as traveling goes.

Interests

I enjoy Snowboarding, hiking, swimming, boating, surfing, rock climbing, good food and good wine, a good Run, and just generally having a good time with life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Basically just about any music except country and western, haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have sailed a boat from Isla Mujeres to New Orleans across the Gulf of Mexico. Honestly, I have done quite a few amazing things with my life, but I am a typical man and I can't remember any of it, ha ha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like couch surfing because it offers a little insight on where you are, or allows insight to be brought to you. I have been places in the past and really hadn't BEEN there, felt it, tasted it, smelt it, Experienced it. I didn't realize this until I stayed on my first couch. It allows you to learn things that you would have otherwise passed by or not noticed.
