Just got married to my gorgeous wife.
We will be taking a break from hosting for a while as we enjoy this new chapter in our lives.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few. Love doing it while I am around. But I am away fairly regularly. I love to exchange that occurs when meeting travelers.

I have surfed a fair bit too. Across rote 66, and around Europe.
I've loved every minute of it. The trust and the community and the sharing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted a few travelers on my couch.

My first CS experience was surfing my way across Route 66!!!

Then I surfed across Europe on a 1 month research and conference circuit!!!

I would have been homeless on the streets of Paris after a credit card and luggage malfunction if it wasn't for the gracious people in the CS community.

Secretly planting sunflowers in CBD nature strips.
Had Chinese food which was ordered in Russian in an restaurant in Israel.
Crash tackled a pony (it needed rescuing...I was being nice)
Martial arts training atop Masada.
Drove the Australian East Coast from Port Douglas to Hobart...
Seen a carpet python catch a bird mid-flight and eat it..
Been shot at by a crazy Tasmanian farmer...
Jumped in a croc filled drain in Ingham... and lost all my contacts in a new town...

I can share annecdotes and stories, I can change the oil on your car, I'm pretty good with rubberbands-paperclips and anything else macGuyver style... I can give limited architectural advices, I can share dreams and visions. I can share a new perspective.
