About Me

befriend all the strangers in the world

All my life I believed that New York had everything I needed, until this year when I was finally able to get my ass out of the states.

I realized couldn't have been more wrong.
About everything.

Those 5 months of studying abroad and traveling around were absolutely breathtaking. Although I'm back I still have this incredible hunger for new experiences.

My default "about me" is: a University student/ freelance concert photographer born and raised in NYC. But there is so much more to me than that.

"Identity is far deeper than any of these labels and habits. We are not what we do, or even how we do it or why. We are what we feel. Identity is in the surge when you recognize unverifiable truth, or the pang when something snaps that you can’t see, or the way you know that you love something you’d never even contemplated. We are not the sum of our fears or our atrophies or our helplessnesses, we are the product of our hopes and our surprise and our inexplicable instincts. "

-Go to too many concerts and festivals (which i can only afford b/c I shoot for them)

-Like music, I can't list all the films i love. i'd rather tell you in person.

-Into the Wild- someone very special gave me a copy that's been passed along by several travelers around the world. I finished it so I need to pass it along to someone else I meet.
-Norwegian Wood
+ a bunch of short stories by Kurt vonnegut

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The New York City skyline from my secret/favorite part in Brooklyn. It doesn't matter that I've seen it a million times over the past 20 years-- its just so beautiful and perfect. I love New York.
