About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meeting people, discover various way of life

ABOUT ME

I am someone really curious. I like meeting people to exchange ideas, know personal life experiences. I think I am open minded. I love traveling, actually, I can't really stay for too long in the same place...I like sports like windsurfing, hiking, surfing...I am trying to learn photography. I like nature pictures, with big spaces. But I am really interested by portrait. To resume, I love life, and I am so happy to know that my life is just starting!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I m just a new couchsufer actually. I tried last year to meet people with CS in Wellington, but it didn't work, i think because my English was so bad (a bit better now, but I m still working hard on it!).This year I m really keen to participate to the CS project. I ll be in Melbourne soon, so I'd love to meet people over there, to show there the city (my turn!), and next year in Paris, I ll get a proper flat (I haven't had one since alomost 2 years), so I would love to host people as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by few people in London, all really nice ! I haven't hosted people yet but as soos as I could, I would love to show my city to CSurfers !

Interests

I really like cooking. I m taking courses next year and trying to pass a cooking diploma. With it I would like to travel to learn different kind of cooking.I m always cooking at my flat. I m staying at my brother's, with 4 other flatmates. So I can cook everyday! I love cooking because it's sharing. Having dinner with people is one of the best way to discover them, to know them a bit more. Sharing dinners with my family or my friends are one of the best memories I get... I know, it's so French..!I'm trying to learn photography. I like nature pictures, with big spaces. But I am really interested by portrait. But I like sports as well: windsurfing (I'm teaching it acyually), surfing, surf life saving, dancing, ... And I love reading...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every kindof music, except maybe hard rock (maybe it's just because I m not used to it...!). At the moment, I'm listening a lot of electronic music as C2C, Paul Kalkbrenner, Chinese man, Nicolas Jaar... But i also really like Bon Iver, Cocorosie, Hindi Zahra, Arcade Fire, Radiohead (actually my favorite band)... I m really interested about discovering new music from other countries. When I was in New Zealand, I went to few festivals, discovering New Zealand music (especially drum and bass!): Fat freddy's drop, The naked and Famous, Shapeshifter, Trinity Roots... The Cat Empire from Melbourne are really good as well...Books I ve really liked: Less than Zero (Bret Easton Ellis), The Way of the World (Nicholas Bouvier), ... I really like Albert Camus.Moovies: Constant Gardner, Le péril jeune, We need to talk about Kevin, Munich, Shindler's list, Once we were warriors, Control, Pulp fiction, Snatch... So many movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something really special for me I've done: realizing that you can share without words.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to teach windsurfing, and sport and it's something i really liked. It was with children or adults. Just sharing something you know.I don't believe in skills or informations that you keep for yourself. I think everything has to be shared. If I m travelling, it's because I love learning from people, but as well because I love teaching stuff I know, and sharing what I can share.I would feel frustrated if someone is teaching me something, showing me his city, his culture, his way of life and if I can't do the same with him.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mali, Réunion, Spain, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, France, New Zealand
