ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors, music, and travel, equally. I grew up in the prairies but somehow ended up living a mountain life in the canadian Rockies. I love to rock climb, downhill ski, hike, cycle tour and enjoy the earth in whatever way I can. I also have a passion for music, always have. Music has made me feel it all. It’s also given me a sence of community and unity amoung so many diverse groups.

Travel, my teacher, has been the main source of education for me. I have been humbled by travel. I have learned to live without "stuff" and I have learned to survive....and every time I venture out I get schooled in a new way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had a couch surfing account for many years but have not used it much. Recently I have embarked on more solo adventures and hope that Couchsurfing will help connect me with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all genres of music, but absolutely love, love, love the acoustic guitar and the many ways artists make it speak.
Not much of a movie person.....I don’t stay awake or sit still for long enough!
Books on Buddhism, nutrition and the brain will always spark my interest.
