About Me

I am one of those introverted extroverts. I like quiet time but I also enjoy going out and partying sometimes. I live to travel and I am a football fanatic. My smile is easily my best feature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After resisting for a long time when people told me to get on, I gave it a try and have had such great experiences that I can't wait to have a place where I can host people. I often show friends of friends around when I have the chance, and personally I know the difference it makes when someone shows you a city they know. I also love hearing other people's stories and learning about different places, hearing about somewhere I have been from another point of view. It is just really interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gosh!! I love fantasy and adventure books. Though (sadly) those don't always translate into good movies.
I enjoy watching a good comedy, but every now and then anything that has a great story. The Usual Suspects, The Departed, Mary Poppins, Sleepers, The Little Prince (Could NOT stop crying), GUY RITCHIE!!!
Definitely a DC superhero person, but Marvel is doing so much better with their movies.
As for music, that depends on my mood, but I have to admit I am kind of stuck in the 90s. Add Justin Timberlake, Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and Queen's soundtrack to Highlander to Hip Hop and random 80's jams, Come Together by the Beatles and the new Justice League cover and that's roughly me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding in Turkey was one of the scariest and most exhilarating things ever.
That and volunteering at the Euros and the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lots of stories, I enjoy learning about new things and am more than happy to cook ;)
