Local bookstores, cafes, museums, and city streets are all haunts of mine. I'm into all kinds of art, literature, board games, riversides, and friendly conversations.

I'm hard of hearing and my voice is very quiet, so I'm learning American Sign Language and Deaf Culture to explore this side of my identity and the interesting and diverse community it has opened me to.

I also make collages exploring existential thoughts, disability awareness, and political activism.

Experiences in new cities are always rewarded by putting yourself out there and befriending locals. Over the last year, I've had the opportunity to visit Reykjavik and Southern Iceland, Paris, Florence, Washington DC, Boston, and New York City all through staying with kind friends of friends.

I could never have financially afforded to visit so many places this year if kind locals hadn't opened their homes to me, and my experiences would never have been as rich. I think it's important to open yourself to the diversity the world has to offer and see that difference in lifestyles doesn't necessarily mean incompatibility in values or interests.

I don't think I've done One Amazing Thing but I've had a lot of amazing experiences. I have an experiential approach to life, a creative spirit, and a zest for equality. I tip my hat at black cats. This year I hiked a glacier, joined protests, and sold my first art pieces.

I can be an interactive guest or someone who quietly exists in your space for a few days, I'm friendly but don't require a lot of energy to host. Listening to stories from all kinds of perspectives is one of my favorite things to do, so I'd love to hear your stories if you want to share them. In return, I can share some of my travel stories, a little ASL if you're interested, some vegetarian cooking, and a hopefully charming sense of humor.
