To keep this short and sweet, my mission is to explore the world! And meet some great people along the way :)

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Boston, MA but have settled in the Pacific Northwest after a whirlwind few years bouncing around the US and abroad. After the most amazing 6 month study abroad program in Australia in university, I decided I wasn't quite ready for the corporate world. Upon graduation, I packed my bags and headed to the UK for my own personal gap year. I worked in London for awhile and topped off the year with a 4 month backpacking trip around Europe. It was truly life changing. I met the most incredible people and have realized that traveling just makes me so dang happy. I have yet again taken off on a gap year, a little sabbatical of sorts, and have made my way to New Zealand for a bit of a working holiday (though it’s currently more holiday than working :)).

Aside from traveling, I love to ski and play golf. I love watching movies and reading. I love my Boston Red Sox baseball team. If I could change degrees and/or careers, I think I'd become a geologist. At some point, I'd like to become bilingual. My friends would probably describe me as pretty fearless and definitely adventurous. I love meeting new people and talking about travel, so please get in touch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly surfed, in Brazil, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and am looking forward to meeting more wonderful hosts on this sabbatical. Planning to host myself when my travels are up :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Sailing the Whitsundays off the coast of Australia.

2. Sleeping in a Bedouin tent in Israel, climbing Mount Masada as the sun came up and ending the day floating in the Dead Sea. The most awe inspiring 24 hours of my life to date!
