ABOUT ME

I'm severely addicted to tea, I love big words and thick accents, and I think I might be solar-powered. The more time outside, the better! When I was 12 I got super into Star Trek and my mom even helped me transform into a Vulcan for Halloween, complete with the elf-ears. But I don't speak Klingon...that would be nerdy. Just really pathetic Italian. The kind of Italian that gets you arrested at the train depot...oh yes. It's criminal. I sleep light, think heavy, giggle a lot and dance every once in a blue moon. Also, I would never dangle a participle or confuse my verb tense agreements...in English, anyway.

PHILOSOPHY

Vacillate between "why the hell not?" and "does this have cheese in it?" (lactard!") "Let the mystery be." And usually, "the answer lies somewhere in between." And, "to thine own self be true." Oh this is hard to pin down. "Mosh clockwise?"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I've had a fair bit of unofficial couch surfing cred...but as far as CouchSurfing with the capital initials, this is my maiden voyage!

Intereses

The New York Times "modern love" column, hiking, vintage dances, design, wordsmithery, owning my own business and constantly making it better (is that an "interest?" or all-consuming livelihood...), Montana (my true love), mountains, sunny skies, tea of all kinds, comfy shoes and of course, legwarmers. Oh and skiing. Skiing is my other love.

Música, películas y libros

I'm kind of a goody two shoes and cringe at 'adult themes.' So I tend to watch a lot of fluffy cartoons and documentaries. Music—a large swath from twanging country (Hayes Carll) to busting beats (Black Keys) to indie folk (my favorite of all, Langhorne Slim) and older stuff (Led Zeppelin!)

Out of all the places I've been and National Parks conquered...I think holding my best friend's hand as she delivered her baby might be one of the more incredible.
