Music, Movies, and Books

I am Neo-Soul, Color Purple kind of girl. If I had to listen to someone all day long it would probably be Lauryn Hill or Anthony Hamilton. However, I am also a huge fan of country, 80s, hip hop, reggaeton, and rock. I read adolescent literature all the time with my little ones, but my personal preferences are memoirs, poetry, realistic fiction, and anything that will make me laugh or changes my way of thinking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been blessed with really amazing moments in my life, but I'd say something really amazing was riding a camel in Dubai. It was my first time out of the States, I was 19, and the world became so much bigger after my week there. Life changing.
