ABOUT ME

ALL ABOUT ME?? C'mon, you must be kidding. Ok.

I grew up in Barra Mansa (200km away from Rio de Janeiro), and always felt like I wanted to get out. Don't ask why, its just how I always felt.

So in 2000, after finishing school I went to Boston, to take English lessons. I had already visited the US a couple of times before that, but that was a really different experience. I was by myself for the first time (and was 18) COOL!!!

Afterwards I went back to Brazil and moved to Rio de Janeiro (city) to enter University. I lived there for 7 years, my best friends are from there and I really really LOVE that city.

By the end of 2005 I was already bored with my internship in marketing planning and decided to go to Europe to visit a couple of friends. "Bad bad idea" - that was what I heard but if you would ask I'd say "GOOD GOOD VERY GOOD IDEA". This 2 weeks trip turned into a 3 months trip, and with that time I managed to see a bit (God there's so much still left to be seen out there!!).

After that trip I went back to Rio, graduated, and now the company I work for asked if I wanted to come to South Africa.. Uhn.. Why not? So here I am!
....

And 3 years later I'm now back in Rio, missing South Africa loads, but very happy to be close to my friends and family! I'm still kind of camping at home, that's why I haven't got a couch. We'll see how long will I have to bear this "couch status" ;-)
