About Me
PHILOSOPHY
We distinguish the excellent man from the common man by saying that the former is the one who makes great demands upon himself, and the latter who makes no demands on himself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far. Hopefully this section will be more populated in the future.
Interests
Hmm, I like reading books, tons of them.
I also like snowboarding, history, art, walking, running, meeting people, going out with friends, languages, films, windsurfing, and listening to music, especially live.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
Star Wars, Pan's Labyrinth, Moulin Rouge, Amelie, Princess Bride, Casablanca, Bladerunner, Princess Mononoke, Annie Hall, Life of Brian, Reservoir Dogs, and more.
Music:
I love loads of old bands like the Who and Led Zeppelin, and tons of newer ones like Frightened Rabbit and Asobi Seksu. I think my favourite band at the moment is The Gaslight Anthem, but I also like what I've heard of Franz Ferdinand's new album.
Books:
Where to begin? I love pretty much all Vonnegut, I also like Iain Banks and Christopher Brookmyre's stuff. I quite like Salman Rushdie sometimes too. Catch-22 and Confederacy of Dunces I read about four years ago, and are definitely amongst my favourites. Overall though, I have to admit I'm a massive Harry Potter fan. I grew up with those books, and they mean a lot to me.
I just realised that this section's pretty massive, but I believe that you can learn a lot about someone based on their choices in these areas. So there you are; hopefully you've learnt something about me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have...erm...well...I guess I've lived. And I'm pretty damn happy. I think that's pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I guess I could help you improve your English. Or teach you to win at noughts and crosses. Or how to do a Rubik's Cube. Or about the merits of Harry Potter or Star Wars.
