ABOUT ME

We are Ben and Carmen and we are currently traveling to experience new cultures and meet lots of new people. We started our journey in Morocco as this looked a fascinating place to explore with a rich cultural history and many amazing sites, especially natural or ancient ones, which we particularly like. Also another appeal was the amazing selection of food, which we must say as been superb so far!
We were travelling by bike, but due to a knee injury to Carmen have had to take the bikes back home and now continue our journey on foot. We have now also done Spain and currently exploring Portugal

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had one experience as surfers in Meknes, Morocco and had a wonderful time with a lovely host, who showed us around the city and gave us lots of insights into the culture of the country.

Intereses

Ben - I am English and am into all varieties of sport, I especially like to play badminton and cycle. I also love reading, fantasy being my favourite genre although I will read almost anything. My other passion is to travel and see places, especially out in nature, and to meet new people.

Carmen - I am Romanian, from Bucharest. Love to learn new things and see places that are away from the main tourist locations. Also enjoy reading as well, classics like 1984 by George Orwell.

Music: Rock and Indie are our main likes

Books: 1984, Harry Potter, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Dark Materials are some of our common interests

Movies: The Shining, The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, and Star Wars (common interests again)

Cascades D'Ouzoud is our favourite thing seen in Morocco. But other amazing things we have seen include:
- Walls of Constantinople
- Pyramids of Egypt
- Southern coast of England by bike
- Hagia Sophia
- Trekking in the Alpujarras
- Train ride through the Douro Valley

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Can teach English as a foreign language, as we are both TEFL trained.
Also can teach about nutrition and social enterprises

We are both very interested in science and medicine
