ABOUT ME

I love so many things about life its hard to even try to write them all down. Life is about connecting with people who share your passions. Mine are creativity, art, good food, traveling, making friends, having real conversations about what's important in life, and understanding differences. I try not to get caught up with the normal, routine of everyday life and I love when life completely surprises me.
I am studying to get my Master's degree in teaching English at FIU in Miami. I love teaching and really experiencing other cultures by living in a place. So it will be my ticket to the world :)

PHILOSOPHY

I really try not to let the little things get in the way of being happy, I always try to remind myself that if it won't matter in a year from now its not worth your time worrying about it today.

I just moved to Miami, once I get settled in a new place I will try and host, but if your in the city hit me up and I'll show you around and introduce you to my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Europe and had a blast, its an amazing opportunity to meet people you never thought you would and its a great way to really know the city your in.

I love collecting records, some of my favorites are The Beatles (of course), Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and so so many more.

Living with a Brazilian family and learning Portuguese for 6 months, traveling solo in the Northeast of Brazil, hiking in Switzerland, sleeping on beaches and waking up to the sunset after a long night with good friends

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I love teaching English and although I'm not fluent in Portuguese I love speaking it and I can really help someone who is just starting out. I would also love to practice more Spanish and French.
