ABOUT ME

I like to see with eyes wide open, try with enthusiasm, and observe the intensity of how others do things. A friend joked that I had been to too many places and we found it funny. I have been lucky to travel a lot but it was as a student, for work, for adventure--- well for any reason that I could find.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just had my first experience as a surfer, it was great in Halifax NS. I have hosted many, many folks and that has been very enriching.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have moved back to Miami and continue being a host,I hosted several people in Nassau, Bahamas and it was both very interesting and a growing experience :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossing seas in stormy weather; and watching sperm whales' mating dance upon a glassy calm ocean surface. Sleep under the stars on the Sahara with warm sand under, cool air above, and loving arms around.

Teach, Learn, Share

In 2000 I was a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar to the Northern Caribbean and was able to teach in the inner-city of Kingston, Jamaica and participate in outreach health care in the mountains of southern Haiti. It was an incredibly rich experience.
