CURRENT MISSION

I'll be in Taiwan from October 17-30 - I'm hoping to stay a little over a week in Taipei, and then maybe check out the southern part of the island - not sure! I haven't done too much research yet :) I'm hoping to stay with or meet up with anyone in the city. I'm REALLY excited about trying all sorts of Taiwanese food!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Torrance, CA, very close to Los Angeles. Now I live in Chiang Mai with my boyfriend! My travel philosophy has changed a lot over the years - now I mostly enjoy trying local foods, checking out cafes and bars, and going to markets or events in town. I do enjoy sight-seeing, but I try not to jam-pack my days with it. I love seeing a new place through the lens of someone who lives there!

I'll pretty much try anything once. There are *some* foods that I've chickened out on eating, just don't tell me what it is before I eat it :)

I love going to any type of event, especially outdoors ones, like markets, music events, dance performances, cultural events, art exhibitions, promotions at a bar, it could be anything! Chiang Mai has a TON of these, partly why I love the city so much!

In Thailand I love driving my motorbike around, but I know that in many other countries, getting a motorbike is impossible/expensive/a hassle. I also love bike riding!
