I’m a bit of an adventuress and love travelling, like everyone on CS! I can’t sit still most of the time, when I can’t travel I like to meets travellers when I can. My day job is working in law, and I discovered my intrigue of human behaviour with studies in psychology. So naturally, I love to talk about all these things and any topic in between.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great first time couch surfing in Annecy, France seeing a small lake-side town in all its glory with a crazy and friendly Frenchman.

Is there a better way to see the world? Locals know it best. Locals, travellers and strangers make every new place more interesting than the previous one. I love story sharing and the couch surfing community is such a good one.

While I'm not in a position at the moment to host, I am more than happy and in fact thrilled to show some around my city. Meeting people is by far one of the most incredible things about travelling, and good memories with people in transit is like a wonderful snap shot in time. I hope I can share some local knowledge and I like to think stories are the real currency of travelling.

I enjoy talking about music endlessly. I have a love of photography and street art, and art in general.
I have an insatiable appetite for new food, gin and coffee - I am from Sydney after all - and love all new and bizarre things.
I enjoy chats about psychology, the human brain, law, politics, human rights and sports - mainly athletics, cricket, swimming, various codes of football, ironman and dance. Above all else I love a good long run, bonus if there's good scenery!

Music- A lot of everything. Classical, rock, reggae, blues and roots, old school hip hop go down a treat! Tchaikovsky, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Simon and Garfunkel, Alabama Shakes, Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, The National, Sticky Fingers and N.W.A.

Movies- the Hannibal series, Wes Anderson creations, Quentin Tarantino films and British comedies.

Books- 1984, Animal Farm and my Leunig book.

I would love to share my interests, above average cooking skills and get to know cities through the eyes of their locals!

If you don't know how to swim, I used to be an instructor and can definitely give you a few pointers in that department. I know a stupid amount about coffee, and will probably be bringing my mobile Aeropress coffee maker with me. I can teach you some Chinese (chopstick skills bonus), basic waltz and cha cha and fun facts about Australia!
