I'm a friendly Christian. I live in China. This is my first year in China. I lived a year in the Dominican Republic teaching 3 years ago. I really want to learn Chinese and start some Chinese programs in American in maybe 5 years. I love learning about new people but I am new to couchsurfing and am maybe a bit cautious about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard about this for a few years and it sounded cool but I wasn't willing to do it by myself. So fortunately I have a friend who is coming with me. I don't have a lot of money so traveling cheaper is better and meeting new people who know the area better is like having a little immersion trip wherever we go and making new friends as I travel.

Interests

I like to crochet a lot. I play piano. I like to learn languages. I sing and I run. I love to travel and learn things about new cultures and peoples.

Favorite movies are Independence Day, Truman Show, and Inception.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went Zip-lining in the Ecuadorian rain forest. That was as close to flying as I've gotten.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences in South America, China, Switzerland, and America. I can talk about language learning for forever. I can cook some pretty good enchiladas too. If you want I can give you crocheting or piano lessons if you are beginner or intermediate on either one.
