heya

after having spent 4 years in beautiful Vienna, Austria for my studies, I’ve decided that I wanted to see as much of the world as possible rather getting trapped in corporate life not knowing what i actually want in life.
First I’ve backpacked through South East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia) for 4 months, then I bought a van in Cairns, Australia and made my way down south to Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road for another 5 months or so. I then made Perth my home for the next 7 months, working in a cafe and enjoying every bit of the Australian way of life. To make my way around the globe complete, my next stops will be O’ahu, Hawaii and California, maybe also New York. I am very tired of looking up sights and things to do online and on travel guides only to tick them off the bucket list. So for my next stops I don’t make any plans as my last year of traveling showed me that my fondest memories are spontaneous adventures and the people I met along the way. I love to go hiking, try out surfing, explore new beaches, taste local food, play the guitar, listen to other people being way better at being musical, listen to other’s peoples views on life and problems and many more things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i've tried out couchsurfing a couple of times while road tripping down the East coast of Australia. Every single time, I had great connections and a wonderful insight it what it means, to live in this country. I shared international food with other couchsurfers, got great recommendations where to buy the best and cheapest food or which mountain to climb for a great view over the area. I lost my phone a couple of weeks ago, with all my pictures I've taken while traveling - the moments I've shared with these other people still are the strongest in my head and don't need any photos as a backup.
