I am a very curious person, interested in a lot of things, one could say I am curious about curiosity itself. For me, it is very important to never stop learning and enjoying the small things in life, that's what makes our lives worthy.

One thing I should warn you about is that I talk a lot, some people find it amusing, others not so much, but that is the way I am. One good thing though is that we can have conversations on a variety of topics, usual and unusual ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As they say "travelling is the one thing you buy, that makes you richer" and with that spirit, I love discovering new places, meeting people (normal, weird as me or weirder than me - the last ones are harder to find, :-)

I find Couchsurfing to be one of the ways to get to meet local people and "live" the cities, countries, remote villages as the locals and get to enjoy what we wouldn't by just been simple tourists.

In my previous houses I have hosted people from several countries: Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Kenya, UK, Argentina, Italy, prior to the existence of Couchsurfing and I very much enjoyed the experience.

Interests

I would need a bigger text box to reflect all of my interests but as a summary, I am interested in martial arts (such us Aikido, Jiu-jitsu, ninjutsu, judo, ...) and I had practiced some of these for quite some time (don't worry, I am not a dangerous person).
Other than this, I love ice skating, although I am not good at that, I admire people that can loop and jump and stand still afterwards, in my case, emergency services should always be warned in case of attempting any of the previously mentioned maneuvers.

Some "usual" interests: food, reading, swimming, SPAs, I love going to the cinema where I truly enjoy watching movies.

I enjoy art very much, although I am not a once-a-week-visit-to-the-museum type of person, but I do appreciate art in its all forms: music, writing, paintings, dance, curiosities, ... My imagination has no limits but my creativity does and so, I am amused to encounter and visit the art works of creative people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am more of a Sit-com person but I have enjoyed several movies, such as: Civil Action, Australia, Good night and good luck, all of the Fast and Furious saga. I do enjoy documentaries, specially ones related to nature parks and reserves (although it would be better to go and visit).
My taste on music, as well as books varies depending on my mood and what I feel like reading or listening to.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I have learnt during all my travels and country stays, is to always have an open minded and respect every single creature alive on Earth.
I do have a MOTO and it is: Hakuna Matata, the way it was intended by Swahili people ("No problems") and I do believe that, regardless our nationality, gender, skin color or belief. we are all amazing creations that should always teach and learn from each other: cultures, traditions, embrace them and enjoy showing them to others and discovering what the world has to offer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach some Spanish, Italian or Berber (which is a hard language to find around).

I can also give advice on places to visit in Madrid, Melilla, Brussels, Antwerpen, and some more cities if you want to get to "not-so-turistic" places.
