About Me
Hello :)
(Please note: I'm approximately 40-60 minutes drive from the Brisbane CBD, and there are conditions for staying here)
I live in a gorgeous (albeit I may be biased!), peaceful brick home with cathedral ceilings and chandeliers, on 30 acres, set in the midst of an ancient Blue Gum Forest. This peaceful, serene environment has a lot of space for fun and adventure, or relaxing and time out.
I have just recently taken over this Property, my home, that had once included an organic lemon orchard. Only a portion of this remains due to drought. I am slowly renovating the house and the property itself.
Getting here: If you do not have transportation, I can meet you at the train or bus and pick you up and drop you off. We can discuss any other needs while you are here.
There is a Queen Sized bed, with bedding, mattress protector, Wardrobes, insect screens, security screens, and it's in your own room. There is a single fold away mattress on frame if needed.
The bathroom facilities are shared as there is only one bathroom in the home. The shared kitchen, has cooktop, griller, slow cooker, blender, bread maker, microwave, waffle maker, a variety of cooking pans and utensils.
There is WiFi,
TV,
Netflix,
Foxtel,
AirConditioning,
Heating,
FirePlace,
BBQ,
Some gym equipment,
washing machine,
dryer,
Pool.
Products used in this house are dermatologically friendly, respiratory friendly, environmentally friendly, kid safe, and suitable for farm / septic tank / tank water environments. All products used remain in the soil of this property, so, using products that are beneficial to the environment are of high importance. You are welcome to use the products that are already here.
This property runs on bore water only. The water runs on gravity feed, so, there is limited water pressure as a result. As there is no town water out here, there are none of the typical chemicals that you find in treated water. There is a high natural mineral content in the water however, and it is suitable for drinking. It can be an acquired taste though if you're not use to it.
I am happy for you to practice your English speaking skills with me if needed.
The property has Lots of birds -Arucanas (Lay blue, green, olive coloured eggs), Easter Eggers (Also coloured eggs), Pekin Bantams, Guinea Fowl, Peafowl (Peacocks and Peahens), Dogs (1 Maremmas) and Cats (FluffyBottom and MarshmallowFellow are both Ragdoll cats).
There are bush walking locations, A large park about 1km away, an equestrian center next door, and I have a fishing kayak you can borrow and take down to the river (if you can transport it).
CONDITIONS FOR STAYING HERE:
I genuinely love meeting people and hearing about your adventures.
This is not a free stay option. I am looking for people who are willing to work in exchange for rent at the property. I am happy for you to do all of the work in bulk, or to spread it out per day, as suits your preference. I anticipate about 3 hours/day with 2 days off if staying for a full week, and I am happy to negotiate depending upon what you are doing. I also offer an AirBnB rate of $50/night if you would alternatively like this.
I will not be providing food as I have a very particular diet due to allergies.
Sorry, no smoking / smokers.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a real Sci-Fi / Fantasy fan.
I enjoy all the Marvel etc movies.
I have a big collection of books on Leadership, Self development, Theology, and Non Fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am constantly looking for some way to grow and develop myself, and stretch my comfort zone!
I have loved my overseas travel, and the adventure of taking on a new learning curve.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a qualified psychodynamic cognitive behavioral trauma specialist, and work with pretty much every topic in personal growth, resilience, performance, and development. I provide my services in a coaching / teaching / ontological format. (I am willing to offer this as a service in exchange for work also, if that interests you). I get the privilege and love seeing people's life blossom and grow as they have breakthroughs in their life - so, life is pretty much amazing all the time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have Kayacks, Mountain Bikes, a Womens right handed compound bow, a massive shed for making things out of wood, I have 30 acres you can roam, I love to Paint, anything art based really. I have a large Patio and BBQ area, I have some gym equipment next to the pool (which is currently not in use during Winter), I have Peacocks, and a whole menagerie of poultry.
My next door neighbour has an Equestrian Center that you can book horse riding lessons with.
