Overview
About Me
My parents are polish, but I was born in Germany and grew up speaking two languages. We moved a lot and travelled when I was quite young. I studied pure mathematics in Dresden but was also part of a student exchange program so I could study in Edinburgh and Kraków and met some of the greatest people from different countries which I'm still close to. All in all, I love discovering new places and meeting new people. Currently I am working as an engineer in the semi-conductor industry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel to a foreign city I don't want to just be a tourist. I want to meet locals learn more about their cultures and traditions. My first couchsurfing experience was in Prague and it was just great.
Interests
I play violin, grew up with classical music but want to learn how to improvise well. Sometimes I jam with friends or my family. I played in a punk band for several years bringing in some folk elements and giving some concerts. I like painting and capturing the places when I travel. Making connections and spending time with close ones is what gives me energy, so I like to take a step back and appreciate what we have and the beauty and love around us.
