ABOUT ME

Where should I start? I am a out-going and cheering person, a bit talkative and loves to share ideas on any topics, from China’s version Apple products to haute couture fashions, history, politics, news to the best place to surf. I love food, wine and travel, most of all, meeting people during my journeys and have fun! Life is too short for sadness, right?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Never heard of CS until a recent trip to Paris, my friend introduce me to CS and we stay in a Parisian CSer’s pad for few days! I was totally amazed by this idea of exchanging culture and I want to be one CSer too!

兴趣

Wow… a lot! I am a huge movie, fashion and make-up fan and I can talk about Tim Burton, Valentino and Bobbi Brown for days! But I am not that “girly girl” as I also love excitements and sports like skydiving, roller coasters, snorkeling and swimming! I am also passionate in learning new language, so if you know an interesting language, please teach me!

And of course traveling is my greatest interest of all, it is my vitamins and fuels!

Tim Burton and Woody Allen productions can delight me easily, I love Cantonese movies too because of my father worked as a movie producer.
For book, I always reach for insider stories, like Aquarium of Pyongyang, The Forgotten Children, etc.. Interesting travel book like Tom Chesshyre’s How Low Can You Go? Round Europe for 1p Return + Tax always catch my attention. ☺
I am a huge fan of Muse and Black Eyed Peas, I also enjoy Japanese pop as a part of my Japanese language training.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I enjoyed my first Aussie-style Halloween when I was in Adelaide. I draw myself a huge black star on my face as my custom make-up (you can check that out in my photos). When I arrive the pub, everyone look at me and talk about my face ☺ , then a man approached to me and said, “hey your make up is cool, can you do the same thing on mine?” I was very happy to do so! It turned out everyone in the pub lined up and ask for a Halloween make-up! I finished all the products I have in my hand, but that was a night I will never forget!

I am far from teaching others anything, but I would like to share what I know about China and Japan, their places, culture and languages. I am a WSET student and work in the food and wine field, so it would be great if we can reach this topic. I am also a make-up artist and stylist in a studio (on request), I am sure I have a lot to share in styling and photography!
