Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel alone but I LOVE to explore cities through the eyes of people who love them and/or live there.

Interests

I'm always looking to support LGBTQ, women and POC owned businesses, especially around the brunch and happy hours). I prefer public art over museums and I can talk rugby for hours especially over good beer or whiskey. I will also gladly love on your cat/dog.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm mostly only reading pregnancy and delivery books right now as I am studying to become a doula and eventually a midwife but otherwise I prefer literature that makes you think and let's you walk around in others shoes. Some of my favorites are Strange Fruit, Americana, The Color Purple, Tipping The Velvet, Bel Canto, Little Bee, Outcasts United, The Lost Boys of Sudan, A Long Walk to Freedom, and of course Harry Potter and Hunger Games.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am pretty great at dry humor, sarcasm, and educated political discussions. I can also teach you all about rugby or some basic first aid. I'm clean and kind and likely won't stay more than a day or two in any one place.
