ABOUT ME

I have been traveling the United States for the last seven years. I generally live in a bus which I have converted into my home and RV.... I have a couch in my bus and would be happy to help some travels get from place to place if our timing lines up, it might be a little tricky, but I'm willing to try. I'm looking to travel abroad and surf some couches while I'm there, as a means to meet new people and learn from locals wherever I am, as well as to have great places to stay.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to be lived. Everyone should travel and see as much of the world as possible. We learn the most from new experiences, so get off your own couch and go visit someone Else's ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just settled in to a place in Tucson Arizona. We are planning to live here until March of 2012, and would love to host some traveling musicians for some great times and jams in the desert. We have lots of instruments and would love to host some amazing travelers and expand our adventures with some people from overseas. My girl is a guitarist and drummer, and I am a drummer and aspiring keyboardist and electronic artist. We'd love to hook up with some people of like minds and show you the beauty of the southwestern United States during the winter, share some great music, adventures, stores, and more....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a couple of couch surfing hosts in my travels, they described their experiences to me and it sounded like a great way to meet new people and travel. Since I have my bus in the States I usually don't need a place to stay, only a place to park, but as my travels become more extensive I'll be flying more and couch surfing sounds great!

兴趣

I play hand drum (doumbek) mostly for belly dancers, but also for fire performers. I love all sorts of music and have been to several music festivals and burning man. I also spin some poi. This year I have been spending a lot of time learning keyboards and the art of electronic music. I have done medieval reenactment for many years and have always loved it. I make chainmail jewelry and supported myself on the road with it for 5 years and continue to make it as a hobby.

This is always a tough category because there is so much... I like a wide variety of music ranging from grunge to dubstep and world fusion, a always love music with a heavy rhythm to it. I've always loved sci fi and fantasy stories, whether told as stories, books, graphic novels, TV or movies.

Yellowstone, Big Sur, Lake Tahoe, the sunset over the pacific ocean from the cliffs of the Oregon coast, burning man, the slabs, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, the rocky mountains in Colorado... the list goes on and on....
