About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Backpacking Costa Rica and meeting all the new people we can.

ABOUT ME

During Fall of 2013 I traveled around the world on the MV Explorer through the Semester at Sea program. I traveled with 500 other college students looking to explore the beautiful world we live in. I enjoyed seeing the sights but enjoyed meeting new people the most. I am excited to keep exploring and meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Some of my best experiences have come out of challenging myself to do things that are new and exciting. I like to push the limits even if it makes me nervous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always open to new experiences. I look forward to doing the things that our host finds most exciting in their hometown.
In addition, I love water based activities. I like hiking to lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. I enjoy floating, rafting, and kayaking and dream of living on the beach one day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While traveling in Ghana a friend and I met up with a local couch surfing host. We went out to a beachfront bar and restaurant and told our stories and our travels. I learned all about our hosts start up social media website and the way that he has connected and brought musical artists and celebrities to Ghana.

Music, Movies, and Books

Power of One by Bryce Courtney, Big Billy Joel and Elton John fan,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitch hiked in a small group from Antwerp, Belgium to Le Havre France. We got rides from lawyers, small business owners, dump truck drivers, parents, welders, start up musicians, and other college students. We ended up staying the night with some new friends in Le Havre where we shared a night full of laughs good food and drinks and a great breakfast. In the morning they took us to the cliffs of Etretat where we checked out World War II bunkers and took in the sights.

Plans never seem to work out the first way but what comes next is always better.
