Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I’m tired of collecting postcards or fridge magnets (those days are OVER). Instead, I am looking to take home interactions and experiences that ignite inspirations with which I rediscover the vast and diverse planet earth.

And to quote a high school friend, if I meet enough of ‘you’, I’ll one day meet myself.

Interests

My biggest interest is to explore the interests of others and learning about trivial facts. Otherwise I am drawn into politics and law (particularly human rights), hiking, aviation, board games, photography, visual design, language learning, social work and volunteering, art galleries and exhibitions, and stand-up comedy.

R&B, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Pop. / Mariah Carey./ Horror, thriller, dystopia/utopia, political satire, parody, comedy, cheesy love stories (YAS!), and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started traveling solo (a quasi backpacking trip with my first hostelling experience) at the age of 15, spending a full week in Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai, Thailand- despite the fact that I was not legally allowed to travel alone or check into a hotel and my dad had to sign a “liability waiver” at the airport.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With compliments I offer late-night conversations and banal jokes. Depending on local supplies I can also cook some of my favorite Chinese food (the level of edibility may vary). I also love packing a little something with me as a thank-you.
