Overview
About Me
Working as an innovation consultant based in San Francisco, figuring out how to solve global development problems through innovation. Prior to that I was working in the nonprofit/social change space. I'm interested in any and all things travel, and most of my time is spent figuring out where to go next and how to get there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's an awesome resource for people with similar interests and smaller budgets. I love meeting new people, trying different foods, and experiencing new cultures.
Interests
I'm interested in social enterprises and nonprofits, specifically focused on international development issues like poverty alleviation, access to clean water, healthcare, and education. I also love travel, books, food, and music (generic but true).

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I'll watch any type of movie, except for horror. Favorite movies might be The Boondocks Saints and Motorcycle Diaries.
Books: I actually read everything. Recent books I've read that were excellent are Sapiens, The Last American Man, Marching Powder, Half of a Yellow Sun, and Outliers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed an active volcano/glacier in Chile, got lost in a sandstorm and had a snowball fight in the driest desert in the world, learned to tango in Argentina, ridden an elephant in Thailand, and hiked a volcano at night to watch the sunrise at the summit in Bali.

Argentina, Australia, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, England, France, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Viet Nam
