Hi! I'm Carleigh. I am currently a student at Cal State Fullerton and my dream is to travel the world! Other than seeing the world, I am studying to become either a teacher or a movie producer (I know, different right?). I plan on visiting a former foreign exchange student of mine in Spain this winter. Also, I will be visiting Copenhagen, Denmark this spring! I believe traveling is the only thing you spend money on that actually makes you richer! I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, trying new foods, and experiences new places! I am a big family person and I appreciate culture and values! I have always been a big foodie, and I will try just about anything! My hobbies include: swimming, watching movies, cooking and baking, hanging out with friends, reading, dancing, trying new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to find a way to immerse myself in another country's culture and make friends while I am there, all while being economic and saving money. I was told by my professor that this is a great way to do that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music, including Rock, Country, Alternative, R&B, Pop, etc. but my favorites artists are Ed Sheeran, Journey, Beyoncé, The 1975, The Zac Brown Band, and The Weekend.

As for movies . . . classic 80's movies like Pretty Woman are great, and comedies like Step Brothers are hilarious, and who doesn't love an all-around great movie like Forest Gump or Titanic? And of course, I don't care who you are. We all love Disney movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone on a road trip up the coast of California. I've done a lot of fun and memorable things, but I am looking to do more. That is why I want to travel. So hopefully next time I'll be able to fill this spot with something jaw-dropping!
