ABOUT ME

I like to travel and see whats around the next corner, learn things and meet people. But while I like moving I prefer to stop in one place and get to know it, I don't really enjoy being a tourist so much. I love being around people though often feel a little introverted and am having spending time alone.

At the moment I work as a carpenter/building on different sites in the goldfield area. I do mostly carpentry but have some earth building experience. I studied a lot of theory in the past and about 6 years ago after returning home from abroad I really wanted to learn something practical. I'm very interested in sustainable building design and in helping other people design their own homes and build sustainably without ridiculous mortgages.

My favourite sound is the sound of an apple being caught, and smell, of tomato leaves. I like warm climates and warm people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started surfing several years ago mostly in Europe, though I tended to prefer work away style trading my help for board. even though I don't have a big house home I really want to start to give back to the universe.
I've been a little absent from the website because I having lived in a place many people visit nor had a nice space to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many a traveler informally and think that staying in a hotel or hostel or whatever could never compare to the generosity and warmth I have already experienced on the couches lent to me!

Anothe is 'Buffalo 66', I have a copy on video but haven't been able to watch it in ages!
