My name is Carles and I am traveling with my friend Arnau, who is 19 years old. We both live in Catalonia and met thanks to our passion for paddle tennis. We practice this sport and we are also coaches for adults and children. Even if we do this as our job, we would love to be firefighters and are both starting to prepare for it.

I enjoy my free time with many different hobbies. I am part of a group of human towers in Igualada, my home town. Human towers are a cultural tradition from Catalonia and we get to build high towers climbing up the bodies. I am also a scout from the age of 6.

I have spent my whole life surrounded by hot air balloons and I am just starting to study and practice to get the hot air balloon pilot license. This hobby has also given me the opportunity to travel. Both me and Arnau love taking pictures and filming and we love filming with drones.

I am a huge animal lover! I have 7 tortoise at home and love to take care of them.

I have heard so many good things about Couchsurfing from different people. A friend highly recommend me to try it as I am a very extrovert and friendly person. I also think is the best option to meet local people while visiting a city as well as showing them home if they ever plan to visit back!
