Recently married to my best friend, August 2018. Graduated from GVSU with a bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Science. Played on GVSU's varsity volleyball team. Currently studying medicine to become a Physician Assistant (PA). Dream is to travel the world to provide healthcare to those in need in rural, underserved areas. Hiked my way all over Yosemite National Park, but best of all, to the top of Half Dome with my family. Something I have dreamed of doing since I was a little girl and my dad shared stories about his experiences camping on top of Half Dome. Yes, my dad is the coolest man ever! I am so grateful for parents who raised me to appreciate the great outdoors!

I spent my final semester of undergrad doing my exercise science internship in Mumbai, India working with children with disabilities in the pediatric physiotherapy department. It was the coolest experience being immersed in another culture and healthcare system and I am already looking forward to going back!
