Hi! I am 22 years old and a recent graduate of UC Davis in California, where I studied Nutrition Science and public health. I have spent the past 4 years working at a restaurant and bar in Davis and playing rugby for my university! I grew up on the central coast of California, in a small beach town filled with loving and open-minded people.

I have also spent the past year educating members of my university and community on ways to be more sustainable through practical outlets. My dream is to find a way to teach children early on the route towards sustainable practices and how to make good food fun!

****I will be traveling for the next 5 weeks and thus not accepting guests, but I cannot wait to when I return home to the coast of California!

I will be traveling in Europe for the next 5 weeks and I cannot imagine a better experience than meeting people and sharing positivity with those around me. I live in a beautiful place in California and I would absolutely love to house people once I return from my trip, there is so much to show and share!

I'm very much a reader and find entertainment in many genres. Though East of Eden is my favorite book I enjoy historical fiction as well as autobiographical work (Tina Fey's Bossypants is a must read!)

I enjoy most music and love to find new bands/artists and spread the music around. I grew up on folk and reggae, and any time there is live music you can find me dancing.

I recently concluded playing in a rugby tour in Ireland with players from my rugby league in California. We visited all over Ireland and played numerous teams while exchanging traditions, memories, and competition. I love rugby and being able to share it with players from another country entirely was rewarding and something I will never forget.

Being that I studied nutrition and worked in a restaurant for 4 years, I have a natural love for food and cooking. I love to learn new local cuisines as well as share some of my favorite dishes. I also enjoy craft beer and discussing different kinds/tastes/brewing styles.

Rugby is another one of my passions that I love to share with people, all you need is a ball!

My sister and I were raised in a musical household. Unfortunately we could not bring instruments with us, but we love to sing and spread love in that way.
