Overview
About Me
My name is Carlo and I live in Villafranca di Verona near Verona, I am a photography teacher and I like travelling.
Except in rare cases, I prefer to deal with verified members who have been registered for a long time and/or with positive references and complete descriptions in their profile (read my description carefully)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined because I would like to meet open people and learn about the culture of the places I visit. What better way to get to know a country than talking to those who live there?

Music, Movies, and Books
I particularly love animated films and science fiction films but also electronic music.
When I travel I love discovering new sounds and local music and recording them if possible
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Vietnam I did the Ha Giang loop by motorbike from Hanoi.
In the summer of 2024 I visited 3 countries in Africa to make a themed photojournalistic reportage: South Africa, Cameroon and Tunisia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach photography, some graphic design, computer skills, some work in the garden and vegetable garden, practical work.
I would like to learn the cuisine of the places I visit and everything related to the history, history of art and architecture of the places I visit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook Italian dishes at my home and, if the right ingredients are found, also at my host's home (it has already happened with some success), do all kinds of jobs (apart from electricity and plumbing).
The town where I live is 25 km from Verona and 25 km from Mantua and is well connected by bus to Verona. 4 km away there is a train station on the railway line that connects Verona and Mantua. If you decide to stay with me, know that during most of the year I leave at 6:30 am and return in the afternoon and that during this period you can visit Verona or Mantua or neighboring cities such as Milan, Brescia, Vicenza, Padua, Venice that you can visit in a day and can reach by train.
