Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly I think the best way to get to know a city, a country, a culture is to avoid touristic enviroments.
I strongly believe in meaningful experiences where the exchange is not only about money or superficial things.
Sharing your home is about the chance to let someone in, as simply as that.
I was raised in Argentina, which is a culture strongly driven on sharing in a collective way. You get nowhere alone. That's why I'm usually drawn to activities that requires a sense of community.
