ABOUT ME

My openness to experience this summer is focused in the visual arts; I’m currently taking a few months off from work to explore my painting, mostly painting the Bernese Alps (Switzerland) but also some abstract figure and floral oil studies. I would say I am mostly an introvert but I do like to discuss and learn more about contemporary and the history of artwork and global current events. I go back to my day job, a NY State CPA in the non-profit industry in September 2013.

Interests

I have two lovely children currently spending this summer in South America, probably swimming in a lake right now somewhere in Cali, Colombia. As mentioned before, I am an artist (you can check some of my work on my website carlosarteagafineart.com – email me your contact and I will send you the password since it is currently a work in progress). I coach youth basketball in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. I am a Teaching Artist for the City of New York in Brooklyn, New York, where I reside.
