I am Carlos and I am a Mexican young traveller. I am currently living in the UK doing a volunteering abroad. I am interested in meeting new people from different countries as a cultural exchange experience. This is my first year experience traveling abroad and it's been a fantastic year, I think couch surfing will allow me to meet even more people and get to know more about the locals of each fantastic place. I am a very positive person, consider myself very smiley who love doing fun things and enjoy every single moment of life.

I'm on couch surfing because it's a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and get to know more about their local place rather than just visiting as any tourist. I believe you take with you a little bit of each place with the great experiences you live in.

Volunteering abroad has been one of the most enriching and great experiences in my life as I have learned a lot from the people who is in need. It is very rewarding to be able to help others and it allows you to see things from a different perspective.
