Hi, we are Carlos and Judith, both 23, and a couple from Germany. We are both open-minded and like to meet new people, especially from other countries and cultures. After finishing high school, we both took a gap year to travel. Carlos went to Australia to become a scuba diving instructor at the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns and Judith worked in hostels in England and Canada. During that time we both enjoyed to see new places, meet people from all over the world and to work in the tourism sector.
Based on those experiences we chose to get a deeper insight into the industry and started to study leisure and tourism management at the Baltic Sea (Stralsund), where we also met each other. During that time we both missed traveling and meeting new people from other countries. That is why we spend one semester abroad. Judith was in Sweden and Carlos on Tenerife (Spain). During that time we were able to meet many people from all over Europe and became also close friends with some.
As we have now finished our bachelor degree, we want to continue exploring the world. We are going on a trip for one year around Asia, Australia, New Zealand and where ever it takes us.
Our goal is to not just visit places to take a selfie and tick it off of our bucket list but get a deeper insight. That’s why we want to use CS to connect with locals to dive into the local culture and experience places how they actually are and look beyond the tourists attractions.

We love to meet new people and discover new places, especially together with locals to see how the places actually are and not just visiting the tourist hotspots and leave without actually meeting and experiencing the local culture.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Carlos: I worked as a dive instructor at the GBR in Cairns/Australia. That was the best job I ever had, as I met nice people from all over the world every day and was able to show them the beautiful underwater world.

Judith: One of my first solo trips was a 5-week (interrail) trip through 10 countries in Europe. Staying at many different hostels, I learned how easy it is to connect with people and learn about their story. Some of the people I met during this time, we will even meet again during our trip :)
