ABOUT ME

I used to be a college teacher for 17 years. I have PhD diploma. I have experience with university extension and humanitarian projects linked with education, health and science communication. I had a vacation experience with volunteering projects in Angola, with brazilian indians (tribe Karajá - Bananal Island) and with afrodescendents community quilombolas. Since 2006 I've been connected with the Public Communication Network and attender international congress. I'm a curator of a exhibition of cartoons of public communication of science and technology with works of 2 brazilians and a PhD from India.

PHILOSOPHY

I member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a Christian Church that promotes a healthy and simple life style - Back to Eden philosophy. I believe that science can make our life more suitable in our world and that the scientific knowledge is a public good that must be shared in a language that every can understand and contribute with the decisions about science and technological development.
