Hi there! My name is Carlotta and I just finished actingschool half a year ago. Because of three very intense years of school I haven´t been able to travel at all, but now my time has come again. I hope to have a great summer in eastern Europe, to meet a lot of interesting people on my journey and maybe have some intense adventures.
I am a very curious and open-mindet person accepting all kind of different ways to live as long as it is still respectful towards others. Sometimes I like to take some risks, but in general I´m quite cheerful and chill.

When I was about two years old my family immigrated to Denmark. That makes me half danish 🇩🇰 - half german 🇩🇪. Later we moved to Flensburg where I grew up in a social living community of around one-hundred people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I go travelling I would like to get to know the countries and culture through locals. It´s insiders and personal tips I´m interested in, finding the unbeaten tracks. Moreover I´d like to get to know how the people live in those countries and the best way to experience that, I think, is by being in direct contact with them. I enjoy getting to know new people and finding out the cultural differences.

Also I think couchsurfing is taking part in trying to create a better world. Opening up your home to strangers from all over the world and expecting nothing in return. Especially in times of war, we need to remind ourselfs that this is also the way humans are and a way people treat eachother. With trust and open hearts.
( Not taking to account all those douchebags out there who missuse that trust to get sex).

I will definitely return the favor as soon as I have my own place!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music have their appeal, always depending on what mood I´m in.

With films I´m quite picky, however I love all the Studio Ghibli movies and I enjoy nature documentaries a lot.

I´ve probably read all theatre classics thoughout my actingschool-years - now I´m just happy to read stories again where I don´t have to imagine everything myself, but have words to describe it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Financing my English-lessons by busking with my ukulele in Oxford.
Lost my way in the jungle with my motorbike and stayed over night in a hut of a lady who didn´t talk a word of English and didn´t even own a toilet.
