About Me
Last year I finished school in Germany, where I originally come from. Since August 2016 I have been living and working as a volunteer in Sucre, the capital of Bolivia. The first nine months I worked in the ecological youth center „CEJ“ in Cajamarca, which is situated about 30km from Sucre. Together with a friend of mine we helped for example with the renovation work, planted trees, made honey and just enjoyed the quietness and the nature there.
At the end of April I moved to Sucre, where I am now living in a shared flat with nine other volunteers. I am working in the „Escuela movil“ (mobile school) with street children and in a children’s home for boys.
In July I am going to travel in Peru before returning to Germany. I am very glad to have the opportunity to live in Bolivia and to get to know the country and it’s culture and people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel more and get to know the places I am traveling to not only from the point of view of a tourist.
Interests
Since I was nine years old I have played field hockey and I really love it. Also I am interested in art, especially ex- and impressionism and the selfportraits of Frida Kahlo. Furthermore I like to read.
In Bolivia I enjoy that I can travel so easily. I like cooking together with friends, drawing, painting and dancing. I hope that I am going to be able to continue living this lifestyle in Germany.
