About Me

ABOUT ME

It's always difficult to write about oneself...! I am a 25 year old student, currently living in Leipzig, a very beautiful city in Germany (Saxony). I'm interested in everything that is new to me, be it other people, new countries with different culture, history and ways of thinking... I love travelling a much as I love music and sports. I am a very curious person, always in search of new experiences and adventures, especially in nature. I try my best to live and travel in an environmentally sustainable manner and admire (!) nature rather than (only) respecting her.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm enthused about the possibilty to travel and getting to know people I might never meet otherwise. Apart from that, the best thing about traveling is getting to know people from other regions or countries which then make the whole journey a precious experience.

Interests

As I said, I love making and listening to music, I play the piano and try to do my best playing the guitar a bit. I do lots of sports and, of course, I love travelling. I'm always grateful to meet and talk to people that change my perspective on life, that also love literature, music and thing about life itself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Forever and for always I'll love Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Shostakovich, Tschaikowky, Mendelssohn, Schubert and Schumann.
At the moment I listen to Milla Kay a lot, I love music byJamie Cullum, Melody Gardot and other Jazz stuff.
One of the best books I've ever read is "The last lecture" by Randy Pausch. I also recommend to read Italo Calvinos stories - they are brilliant. "The confessions of Max Tivoli" is another book that really let marks on me. Poems also thrill me, I love the German poet Ringelnatz for his wonderful imaginative, humorous and yet deeply honest and serious way to express how one may or maybe should see life differently...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I did a cross country skiing tour with three friends of mine in Norway. Extreme weather conditions, exhausting but really amazing!
