I'm an American student currently living in southern Germany as an au pair. I've been living in Europe since January 2018 and since then I've completely fallen in love with Germany and learning the German language. I studied some French in America but I've probably forgotten it all! I love traveling, especially eating and drinking while exploring new cities. Back home in CT I study architecture and enjoy life living on the coast of New England. I'm easy going and love to just hang out, meet new people, and enjoy life.

I'm looking for new ways to travel beyond the typical hotel or hostel experience. As a young person, I'd rather explore a city like a local- I'd love to meet a host who could show me their favorite spots, go out for a beer, or even just chat for a bit! New to couchsurfing and hope to make some friends and great memories :)

My absolute favorite is Leonard Cohen. Game of Thrones, Anthony Bourdain, That 70's Show, Chef's Table, Outlander, Queer Eye, Friends... I'll read anything I can find but I love Toni Morrison!

I hiked the West Highland Way in Scotland all the way from Glasgow to Fort William, finishing with Ben Nevis (the highest peak in Britain)
just kidding, I had to cancel that trip
My most amazing experience has been either Oktoberfest or cliff-jumping into the Mediterranean in Italy

I make amazing breakfasts (if you're into American pancakes) and I could teach you how to do a headstand if you want. Besides that, I'd love to hang out and tell you about my travels, life back home, etc and learn the same from you! I don't have too many special talents but I love making new friends and joking around.
