I'm a journalist by profession, and a writer, philosopher, ex-physicist, wistful ex-academic, feminist. I get excited by science, tech and other nerdy stuff and passionate about social issues. I only read fiction and I read a lot of it.

Music: mostly folky/soft rock/singer-songwriter genres, many artists of my parents' generation like Bruce Springsteen, Simon and Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan, Dire Straits, but also Bon Iver, Florence and the Machine, Bear's Den, First Aid Kit, etc. I'm perpetually in love with female pop stars - currently both Rihanna and Sia.

Literature: Garcia Marquez and other magical realist and South American writers. I read a whole range of fiction, from satire to old classics.
