I'm a 21 year-old student, tea-drinker, social justice activist always in search of an adventure! I love rad humans with great stories, and I'm hoping to meet some along my travels through here :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In her TED talk, Amanda Palmer talks about how she learned the art of asking -- essentially how she learned that good things/stories/adventures come through simply asking strangers for help and trusting them to be good people. After I watched her talk, I started to believe in this lifestyle, too. I found myself on this site because I'm always in awe of how powerful and magical human connection really is, and couchsurfing seems like the perfect way to chase that idea.
