I am new to couchsurfing and very excited to have had a close friend tell me about the beautiful connections she has made here. I am travelling around Central and South America this year, following my intuitive flow when figuring out where to go. I have always wished to travel for a year. I am 42 years old and am finally making that dream come true!

At home I work as a psychotherapist and do Reiki/energy healing. I love supporting people on their healing journeys. I am thinking of moving to Portugal when my travels are over as I love being in the sun and the warmth and near the ocean. The lifestyle is calm and there is lots to do in nature which I like.

I enjoy getting to know someone on a deeper level and connect most easily with genuine, gentle, caring souls. I appreciate getting to know someone's quirks and sharing mine :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading and doing The Artists Way and also Waking the Tiger by Peter Levine. I enjoy books on mental health, spirituality, memoirs of incredible stories where people beat all odds, intimate stories. Listening to Tara Brach.
Radiohead, Mose, Four Tet, the Cure, Bjork, Massive Attack, David Bowie, Mazzy Star, Nessi Gomes, Damnit, but do find myself listening mostly to chill/ambient electronic these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During this trip: I stayed overnight in the desert in Morocco and woke up to go for a walk at 4am to see the stars followed by the sunrise ✨🌛 ☀️🌞
In life: I healed from a long term illness using the power of my mind 🙏🤯🔥✨
I had Lyme disease for 9 years and there was no medical treatment that could help. One day I realised I had to be the one to make the impossible happen. I am now completely healed and have been living life fully for the same number of years as I was ill for.
