I'm Carmen, 23 years old and from Austria, central Europe. This summer I'm staying in California for 2 months, I can live in a friend's house close to LA. Still, I would like to get to know this wonderful state as close as possible and appreciate every shelter offered by one of you!

I'm a very openminded and curious person, always thriving for learning something new and exciting because this life and this world are both fascinating and beautiful.

My passions and interests contain history, foreign cultures and of course as a civil engineer I'm also into natural sciences and buildings/constructions.

I am a very responsible person and will treat your property with the highest level of respect. Let me convince you by giving me a chance to stay at your place. P.S.: I am very good at preparing my hosts as many Wiener Schnitzel (an Austrian delicatesse) as they want, if you have ever eaten it there's no way you don't wanna take me in. In case you have never eaten it, there's no way you don't wanna take me in, you need to know what you have been missing in your culinary experiences so far!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I lived in Barcelona for 5 months because of taking an Erasmus exchange semester. This was a life-changing experience and I am so happy and thankful for doing it. The first time living abroad in a country that doesn't speak my mother language, knowing nobody. This is where I really had to step out of my comfort zone. And I loved it. I was unbelievably proud of myself. But the best aspect of my exchange semester was all of these deeply binding friendships I have made there, with people all over the globe. This was one of my most valuable achievements ever.
