ABOUT ME

I currently live in Berlin and I love to meet with friends, organize things together or just go to cafés, to the movies or any other event this great city has to offer.

I'd love to offer my couch to people who want to come to Berlin and maybe I can also show you around. I have not had a couch surfer yet as I share my flat so I am not at liberty to let someone stay at all times. Right now I can offer a room, though. The flat is very centrally located, about 20 minutes by foot from Alexanderplatz and about 3 minutes with a streetcar.

I have lived and worked in the United States, Cameroon, Japan and Taiwan. I really love to learn the languages, too. I have often lived in international dormitories with people from many different parts of the world and I've always very much enjoyed that. I guess Couchsurfing reminds me a bit of that only that it is more dynamic, as I go around or have visitors coming.
I've also traveled to Brazil and seen the Iguazu Falls and many other extraordinarily beautiful places of that wonderful country with its wonderful people.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to listen to people's stories, what they have experienced and how they look at life. We are living in one world but we still have such different experiences. It is much easier now to cross geographic borders than it was a couple of decades ago and we can dive into a completely different world for a while and then come back and yet we all live in one world. That is not just fascinating, sometimes it is also scary.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience was really, really great. I found this a new way of making new friends and connecting with people I would otherwise probably not have met.

Interests

Traveling, meeting new people, socializing, going to the movies, concerts, the opera. Some outdoor activities but not too much. I like to learn new languages, too. And I like to organize events with friends.
